Is it better if a pair of shoes is a little too big or a little too small?
I bought a pair of Marc Jacobs shoes a few days ago. The size 40 was a little too big, and the size 39 was definitely too small (it hurt my feet right away). These are European sizes even though I bought them here in the US. I usually wear a size 8 and a half or 9 depending on the brand. I got the pair that was slightly too big because I have heard many times that heels that are even a little too small can really hurt your feet in the long run. Did I make the right choice? And what can I do to help my feet slipping out of the shoes?
I think you made the right choice having them a little too big, because you could always maybe were an extra pair of socks or tights to help them fit better. But there are these insoles for your shoes to make them smaller. I had them last year and they did a pretty good job:)
