Adult businesses would suffer if bill passes, opponents say
A packed committee room listened to a full day of spirited testimony that included references to body parts and fluids, sexually suggestive apparel and other terminology related to the adult entertainment industry.
Senate Bill 16 would prohibit sexually oriented business activities between midnight and 6 a.m. (clubs with liquor licenses could remain open but would have to refrain from such activities; those without liquor licenses would have to close).
The bill would require nude or semi-nude employees to appear on stages at least 2 feet off the floor and at least 6 feet away from customers and ban customers from "knowingly touching" strippers.
Business affected would include adult bookstores, adult video stores,adult cabarets, adult motion picture theaters, sexual device shops or a sexual encounter centers

that was passed this past summer...
took Effect Sept 4th!

In all seriousness, what is the point in this? If you're going to allow this stuff to begin with, allow it. This sounds like a way to make money and nothing else.
