Needing Motorcycle apparel. What to buy?
I recently purchased a Kawasaki Ninja and I'm looking to buy a pair of pants, a jacket and some gloves. ( I have boots and helmet )
Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. I'm a college student... ( used is acceptable )
I wear size medium tee shirts, or large jackets usually in mens.
Pants = 30 waist and 30 length. ( can vary a little )
Tight wadd, Your post was filled with a ton of stuff I didn't ask at all..... I listed the measurements of pants for the sake of if someone had seen a sale, etc online for that size.
If I were to buy used the clothing would have to be Barely used. Just like snowmobiling clothing, people buy all the clothing, the sled, and then decide it's not for them. Hence they only wore the stuff like once or twice.

Try ebay, that's where I got my jacket. Joe Rocket new for $100. If you're getting a jacket that is not specifically made for riding, it's not gonna have the protection inside (elbows, shoulders, back). If you still choose to buy a leather jacket that's not made specifically for riding, I would suggest getting the icon field armor to protect your spine. Leather is good too because it slides. Gloves, you want to buy new. Again, ebay has new gloves. Used gloves get sweaty and I would not like to wear someone else's sweaty gloves. Again, if you buy gloves that are not intended for riding, they wont have the knuckle protectors, and probably wont be made to stay cool (vents on the knuckles). Pants, most people just wear jeans. Unless you're going to the canyons, you wont be wearing them very much. Being realistic, you wont wear them for everyday riding.
