should George Lucas completely remake episodes 4,5 and 6 of star wars?
with completely new actors and all modern day film making techniques , like King Kong was??
i was thinking this would be a good move because when i watch the whole Series from episode 1 through to 6 the low tech film making of the 70's is a bit of a let down after the more modern prequels and there are also one ore two inconsistencies that could be changed e.g O'bi Wan not recognizing R2-D2 and C 3PO in episode 4 .
so what do think good idea or bad ??
Nope. George Lucas said that with the 2004 versions (the ones that first came out on DVD), he was finally satisfied with how they'd turned out. The 1997 Special Editions were a huge improvement, but still left a few things to be desired as far as Lucas was concerned.
Also: Obi-Wan never said that he didn't **recognize** Artoo and Threepio; he just said that he didn't recall ever **owning** a droid. Considering how much Obi-Wan didn't tell Luke about what happened to Anakin, I think we can give Obi-Wan a pass where the droids are concerned.
